This 200-hour yoga teacher training will provide you with an in-depth understanding of all aspects of yoga. You will totally transform your personal practice and learn to teach yoga with confidence and tranquility. The Serenity Eco-Guesthouse and Yoga training is taught by the most experienced teachers who have devoted their lives to yoga. Among these teachers are Joseph Berridge, Yenny Christine, and Ni Komang Puspa. You will enjoy morning and evening asana practices, meditation and breathwork lessons, in-depth yoga philosophy classes, and also learn about Sanskrit mantras. You will also enjoy singing bowl meditation and kirtan, daily workshops, a free Balinese healing massage, and you will receive all the yoga teaching resources. You will be able to only focus on your personal practice and you will quieten the mind, strengthen the body, and become a certified yoga teacher. Becoming a yoga teacher can be quite daunting and there are many situations that are challenging physically, mentally, and emotionally, that is why it is important that all the teachers offer guidance and support at any stage during the training.

JOSEPH BERRIDGE JOGAYOGA l Lead Teacher
Joseph has devoted the last 7 years studying yoga, discovering that yoga can help to realise true happiness, inner peace and strength in day-to-day life. He initially studied Music and Chinese Medicine while balancing this with yoga practice to maintain a clear mind and reduce stress. He then travelled to India & Bali to study yoga and has now made Bali his home.
Exploring the art and science of yoga has given him enthusiasm for sharing the knowledge and physical practice to benefit all of us. We can find union with the source in many ways- yoga is just one way. His approach is fun, comprehensive and dynamic which enables people of all walks of life to participate. He believes that we are all teachers and students on this earth and can benefit greatly from sharing and learning from each other.
Yenny Christine JOGAYOGA l Lead Teacher
Yenny Christine is a very experienced yoga teacher, she started yoga in 2003 and has been teaching since 2006. She now has a yoga studio in Bandung: Pranayogastudiobandung. She loves Vinyasa yoga and the aim of her vinyasa is to move as smoothly as possible from one asana to the next. She practices all kinds of poses but her favourite groups of asanas are backbends because she thinks they’re very intelligent and beautiful. Ni Komang Puspa JOGAYOGA l Lead Teacher
Ni Komang Puspa has been practicing yoga since 1992.She has over two decades of experience on the mat. A local Balinese from Karangasem. Puspa travelled overseas in 1994 to learn philosophy as well as deepen her yoga and meditation practices. 5 years later she then headed to India to do her final teacher training. She has taught across South East Asia from Malaysia to Thailand to the Philiphines, and of course Indonesia too. In addition to the various clasess Puspa teaches at Serenity Eco Guesthouse, she also specializes in prenatal yoga clasess. Throughout the YTT, Puspa will be teaching about yoga philosophy and sharing her knowledge and experience of Balinese culture and spirituality, with a special focus on Karma Yoga and the connection to the spiritual establishment.
Dada Vibharakananda JOGAYOGA l Lead Teacher
Dada is an enlightened spiritual teacher inspired by the philosophy and teachings of Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, a Tantric Master, a philosopher, author, social reformer, humanitarian and spiritual leader. The basis of his teaching weaves continuity with the ancient spiritual science of Tantra. Dada was searching for spiritual answers since childhood and finally introduced to holistic practices of yoga pose, meditation and Tantra and Rajadhiraja Yoga in 1993. In 1999, after several years working in the corporate world, Dada’s strong vision for spirituality led him to a major turning point in his life when he decided to leave his job and immerse himself fully in a devoted path of yoga. He went on to pursue training in India as a sannyasin, senior yoga monk. From then, he spent most of his time teaching yoga and meditation in Taiwan and Australia and eventually returned to his native island of Bali, bringing his devotional work home.
All settlement of room payments are due upon arrival before checking-in. Serenity has the right to refuse accommodation if payment is not accepted upon check-in. In the case of financial complication on the behalf of the guest, your original passport will be kept in our safety box as guarantee, returned as soon as the room bills are settled.
In case of cancellation, Serenity must be notified verbally or in written at least 24 hours before. Only 80% of the remaining balance will be refunded to the guest. In the case where Serenity is notified in less than 24 hours, no refund is provided. Your deposit through Review My Retreat can be refunded in the case of cancellation of the retreat.
When purchasing a retreat through our site, you can be assured that you can cancel at anytime before the retreat starts and get the reservation fee back from Review My Retreat. However, any further transactions that you make to the retreat in order to confirm your place will be under the policy of that particular retreat and each retreat has it’s own cancellation policy, so please ensure you read carefully their cancellation policy before making any further transactions with them. Before purchasing a retreat, it is your responsibility to thoroughly read and understand the cancellation policy of each retreat.
We know that sometimes things comes up, and unexpected events happen that can keep you from going on a trip you’ve planned. If you’re totally sure you aren’t able to make it to the retreat, the best thing you can do is cancel. Then, it’s always nice to reach out to the retreat owner as a courtesy. We’ll inform them either way, so it’s up to you if you want to make the personal connection.
It’s our intention to make things as simple as possible for anyone who wants to go on a retreat, while balancing the administrative and business realities of those who run retreats.
