Join Fiona Galloway, experienced yoga teacher, outdoor leader and travel guide, for her transformative escape to the beautiful West Coast of Sri Lanka. Indulge in 9 glorious days of yoga and deep rest, lush jungles and golden beaches, nourishing food, Ayurvedic healing, adventures in nature, ancient temples and the peaceful rhythms of local village life. This experience will reset your body, mind and life!
Our main retreat residence is the beautiful old residence set on four and a half acres of gorgeous tropical gardens just ten minutes from the wide sandy beaches of Bentota. We have access to surf breaks, the lagoon and meandering inland waterways, natural sanctuaries, ancient temples and many other coastal treasures.
The former home of a famous village Ayurveda Doctor, the property has now been styled as a charming and exclusive Boutique Hotel. Dappled with fruit and medicinal trees, palms and orchids, the property is a sanctuary for native and migratory tropical bird life with expansive views of of the gardens from all accommodation and overlooking the raised colonnaded pavilion and sparkling freshwater infinity pool.
Secondary accommodation is located 500m down the road from the retreat base, and in a beautiful, private colonial villa. This also has gorgeous garden surrounds and pool. A short bike ride or stroll will have you back at the main retreat residence. The journey between venues to share practices (and afternoon tea!) was noted as being an absolute highlight for guests on our inaugural retreat here last year!
Bicycles and a private Tuk Tuk are available for exploring the area.
