Description of the Retreat

Adventure and Yoga in Tanzania

From 21 October to 03 November 2023

Have you long dreamed of going on a safari in Africa and finding yourself in the middle of the savannah to observe lions, giraffes, and elephants? Or venture up Mount Kilimanjaro, the roof of Africa? Do you also dream, when you work non-stop, to treat yourself to a few days on a paradise island with white sand beaches and turquoise water, and to practice yoga in this ideal setting?

It is possible to combine these dream trips… in one stay in Tanzania!
The travel agency Twende Africa Tours in collaboration with myself organizes 2019 an unforgettable stay in Tanzania-Zanzibar during the All Saints holidays. Very complete and flexible, it will allow you to see the most beautiful places of Tanzanian nature aboard a private jeep with your guide. This year, we are launching an alternative to the Safari: that of climbing the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro (5895 m).

And then, to rest, you will fly to Zanzibar where you will spend the end of your stay in an idyllic setting and practice yoga (all levels). Want to go to Zanzibar only? It will also be possible this year 2023!

Teacher/Teachings

Her name is Naiara Naigua, Born in Basque, near the Pyreneous mountains, his father shared his passion about mountains and trekking to Naiara since very young.
Nowadays, she is dance teacher in Paris.
In November 2018, her dream became true: Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m, Tanzania) as a solo traveler, she met Peter Kinyaiya, the experimented Kilimanjaro trek guide.
Worried about her asthma problems and running out of breath, she is more and more interested about Yoga and its benefits and she studies Vyniasa Yoga.
Sure and truly, yoga practice has contributed to the climbing of Mount Kilimanjaro, she proposed to his guide to make new concept: Combining Yoga with African wildlife safaris, Trek on Kilimanjaro and relaxation in Zanzibar beaches.
This is why now at Twende Africa Tours and Safaris we have Combined Kilimanjaro Packages and Relaxation in Zanzibar beach with Yoga Practices.
