Week 2 (September 22nd, 1:00-2:30 pm EST): Mental and Emotional Pain: Alleviating the mental suffering that arises in the face of four challenges that accompany chronic illness and disability: the relentlessness of symptoms; the many losses brought about by chronic illness/disability; the demands of being a caregiver; and the isolation experienced by both patient and caregiver.

Week 3 (September 29th, 1:00-2:30 pm EST): From Self-Blame to Self-Compassion: Overcoming negative self-judgment and guilt through the use of lovingkindness and self-compassion practices.
