Description of the Retreat

MAKE 2019 YOUR TIME TO SHINE
Do you find yourself playing small and not stepping up to opportunities?

Have circumstances been holding you back?

Do you want 2019 to be the year that you realise your true potential?

It’s your Time to Shine!

Is ME time something you dream of?

The retreat is a rare and valuable opportunity to step off life’s treadmill, to reflect on your life, your goals and your competing commitments. Time to create a clear, stretching and achievable plan for your year ahead that enables you to shine in all aspects of your life and work.

THE TIME TO SHINE RETREAT
Designed for busy working women, employed or running your own business. We will deep dive into your year and craft a plan for your year ahead.

Our retreats use the idea of the four rooms, inspired by the work of late author, Rumer Godden.

Everyone is a House with Four Rooms: A Spiritual, a Physical, a Mental, and an Emotional room. Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time, but unless we go into every room, every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not complete.

Through engaging exercises, encounters with nature, unlocked creativity, deep reflection and the support of a sisterhood of women, coaches with decades of experience will guide you to take the steps you need to come home to yourself.

To get the most out of the retreat, we believe it’s important to be in beautiful and inspiring surroundings. Being in the same old environment creates the same thinking and the same results, taking yourself out of that creates the opportunity for new thinking, for creativity and to unlock your deep knowing.

We have chosen Down Hall Country House Hotel, because it’s surrounded by enchanting grounds, with aged trees, secret gardens and lush greenery – the perfect space for reflection. The hotel facilities and grounds are the perfect place to focus, relax and re-discover yourself with like minded people.

Teacher/Teachings

The retreats are a highlight of Jenny’s year in which she has the opportunity to rebalance, enjoy being among a sisterhood of women, and doing the work that she loves – empowering you to dare to set challenging goals to realise your potential.

As a Mum, Wife and Business woman, Jenny is very aware of the challenges that women face to actually gain some time for themselves without feeling guilty, and how easy it is to burn out.

She feels a real sense of responsibility to the women that attend, understanding that your time is so precious, and as a result creates a very empowering, unique and memorable experience that retreaters come back to time and time again.

2pm The Spriritual and Physical Rooms
This experiential session, facilitated by Coach Jackee Holder, will explore the relationship between your inner and outer nature.

Drawing from the nature on your doorstep and the wonderful trees on the retreat grounds, you will set off with a series of writing prompts designed to explore your own relationship with nature and the connections with your own interior. Consider this a short adventure into the wild nature of who you are.

SUNDAY 3RD FEBRUARY

Testimonials

Testimonials:

From the moment I walked in, I felt a positive energy and acceptance. And that people are generally interested in what I’ve got to say and encouraging me to discover things for myself. This is really developmental, team bonding in a real genuine sense of the word. The one thing I love about this which is so different of the training events is the creative background to it. Going into nature, explore things through poetry, through what you can say and you know, take a more creative stance to find a practical solution which is great.- Jessica Wilson –

It’s a space to be able to be reflective and to think about your goals, your dreams, your wishes and also to put things into perspective, going out into nature, being able to be silent for half an hour, to be able to listen to my thoughts. There are so many different women from different backgrounds who came with a wealth of knowledge, that were able to share their experiences. I felt a sense of many different emotions, of being somewhat relieved but it’s a nice relief to leave some of the burdens or the heaviness. I would definitely recommend it.- Erika Smith –
