Description of the Retreat

A Morning of Meditation, Gentle Yoga, and Sound Therapy

We live in a yang world – a swirl of chaos, stress, and frustration. Discover a place in the heart of the city where you can come back into balance and find tranquility.

Join us in a luxurious morning mini-retreat, your opportunity to find peace in a beautiful place where you can get to know yourself. Yin yoga and sound therapy practitioner Diana Osberg will lead you in a practice of conscious breathing and gentle Yin yoga and give you a divine soundbath to help you relax, quiet mind chatter, release blocked energy, and connect to your inner guidance.

We’re grateful to have exclusive access to a special property, The Japanese Garden, in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. It’s an unexpected oasis on 6.5-acres, ideal for meditation and quiet walks. Prior to our retreat program, you’ll have time to explore the garden and discover its many treasures, including some hidden spaces for meditation.

At the far end of the lake, you’ll find the Shoin – our home for the morning. In this traditional, open-air building by a waterfall, you’ll delight in the sounds of flowing water and songbirds and feel the gentle breeze from the garden during our mindfulness practice.
