    Overall Experience

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I loved every minute of it. It was total escapism with a focus on well-being and I came away feeling restored, resilient and totally relaxed. I still feel great weeks later!

Teacher/Teachings

At Raw Horizons, wellbeing life coaching is central to all that we do. Our carefully guided group workshops will help you deal with whatever issue is most pressing in your life, so you can discover what you want and find the strategies you need to achieve it.

Wellbeing coaching helps you to determine and achieve your personal goals, so that life becomes easier and more enjoyable.

Our workshops are tailored to your needs, to help address every aspect of your life, from career, relationships, health, home and finances, to life purpose and your relationship with the wider world.

We pride ourselves on creating a safe, confidential environment so you have the opportunity for deep self-reflection during your coaching. You can expect our workshops to be thought provoking, challenging and inspiring, and often to stir up emotions too. Please be assured that whatever comes up, you’ll be looked after and nurtured all the way through.

Being part of a small group is an important part of the coaching process, and though it’s only natural to feel nervous at first, you’ll find that you will relax, feel safe to ‘let go’ and leave feeling vibrant, motivated and excited about the path ahead.

We will equip you with the tools and tips you need to move forward in a happy, peaceful state of mind and leave the past behind.

You’ll open up to new opportunities in life and be able to look forward over a new horizon.

Our Yoga

Yoga is an integral part of a Raw Horizons retreat experience, to support your journey to health and self-discovery. It gives you the opportunity to move your body, become aware of your breath, create an inner strength and harmonise your body and mind.

At Split Farthing Hall we practise Kundalini yoga which is the yoga of awareness, incorporating various routines (kriyas), breathing exercises and meditation. The main aim is to connect to the energy inside of you to help you feel more peaceful, more joyful and blissful.

Our yoga is appropriate for any fitness and experience levels as you just need to do as much as you can. You can even do it sitting on a chair if needed and even if you can’t do all the ‘exercise’ part, then because of the mix with breathing exercises and meditation, you will benefit a lot from the sessions .

There are also evening meditations included to allow you to incorporate a mindful practice, calm your mind and incorporate all you’ve learned.

Food

Our raw food cuisine during your retreat is an integral part of your experience and has been specially designed by Dr Claire Maguire to support you on your programme, by enhancing your energy, vitality and wellbeing plus helping to clear and release your mind.

Our cuisine is based on the living/raw food philosophy so it is inherently wheat, gluten and dairy free. We also follow a low-sugar diet. We don’t use any refined sugars in our food and only use natural sweeteners such as dates, honey, agave and only in moderation.
