Description of the Retreat

Little Paradise is a meditation and retreat center just outside Hamburg, Germany. It is a place for a meditation holiday, spiritual retreat, or just a relaxing timeout.

The guesthouse has a large meditation room with a fireplace, and a cozy, well-equipped kitchen. An idyllic garden with terrace and garden pond invites you to pause and dwell. The small library of spiritual books is another great place to lounge and retreat in the house. Our house is specially designed for people to find deep rest, stillness and to reconnect with nature and the inner.

Our house is specially designed for people to find deep rest, stillness and to reconnect with nature and the inner. Many guests participate in shared meditations, others simply enjoy the peaceful tranquility of this place by resting and soaking in the amazing view of the garden, the lakes and wildlife of the nature sanctuary beyond. It provides the perfect environment for silence, meditation, writing, reading, walking, cycling, and bird watching.

We provide space and atmosphere for deep peace and silence. Individual retreat guests are very welcome. Silent retreats are possible. Group events just as well. Inhabitants and guests usually form a loose community. Shared meals in the kitchens, authentic encounters, deep conversations are part of our daily life.

Arriving at your inner center and taking a rest from normal life.

This is a single-person retreat.
There will be other people in the house – likewise on individual retreat.
According to your demand, qualified retreat supervision will be available.

Price includes:
– Accommodation in single room with shower or duplex room (31sqm,shower bath) with lake view
– Organic vegetarian food – for self-preparation in our shared eat-in kitchen
– Group meditations
– Retreat supervision

 

Practical Information

It is easy to reach the house from Hamburg airport.

- Taxi will take about 30 min.
- Public transportation will take about 1 h, taking the metro and bus. The bus stop is in front of the house.

We will give you more detailed information upon reservation of the retreat.

Oftentimes, we cook together with the guests and/or share food and meals.

Maria Lefevre is a coach and author and has built up the meditation and retreat center Little Paradise, outside Hamburg, Germany.

For the last couple of years she has been coaching people on subjects like self development, meditation, the spiritual journey, and finding one's true potential.

On these topics she has published a book (Was die Seele zum Klingen bringt – Eine Reise zu Deinem wahren Potential) English translation: The Song of the Soul – A Journey to Your True Potential)

She is a long-term long-time meditator and loves her 4-6 hours of meditation, each day. To her, everything else comes secondary to the profound intimacy, truth and silence that we find deep within our own hearts.

    Timetable

    For our retreat guests, we will suggest a daily schedule with times for meditation or prayer, contemplation, walks in nature, reading, creativity, and small talks to share and reflect upon the inner process. Guests are free to choose in how far they would like to follow our suggested schedule and participate in these activities.
    It is also possible to (partly or completely) follow your own retreat rhythm or plan.

    Optional early morning program:
    04:30 - 05:30: Sitting in Silence/Meditation
    05:30 - 06:30: Attentive walk in nature
    06:30 - 07:00: Reading

    Suggested Retreat schedule for guests of the house:
    07:00 - 07:45: Sitting in Silence/Meditation.
    07:45 - 08:30: Sitting in Silence/Meditation (or Yoga / Tai Chi / jogging single-handedly)
    08:30 - 09:30: Breakfast
    09:30 - 10:30: Attentive walk in nature / Contemplation or Answering self-reflectory questions.
    10:30 - 11:00: Creative expression: Writing, etc...
    11:00 - 12:00: Reading (Library of books available in English and German)
    12:00 - 13:00: One-on-one talks and retreat supervision (according to your demand)
    13:00 - 14:00: Small lunch
    14:00 - 15:00: Siesta/Nap
    15:00 - 16:30: Garden meditation / Attentive walk in nature
    16:30 - 17:30: Creative expression: Writing, drawing, dancing, laughter yoga, dynamic meditations, etc...
    17:30 - 18:30: Reading / Contemplation or answering self-reflectory questions
    18:30 - 19:30: Light Dinner
    19:30 - 20:30: Group sharings
    20:30 - 21:00: Free time / other
    21:00 - open end: Sitting in Silence / Meditation (with group in meditation room or on your own)
